Raven Ranch began as a dream in 1997 when I hiked up to this ridge and stood overlooking the vast farming valley on the edge of the Palouse region in Northern Idaho. Fresh mountain air, good soil, sun, and lots of snow and rain. All ingredients to growing quality garlic. Over time we began to build the dream into a reality; literally a modern day homestead project. First we built a road to the top of the property. A year later, we built the pole barn, which would eventually become our home. I have always had a passion for cooking. In 2007, I was introduced to gourmet garlic by a close friend and mentor, Wayne Reome. It was only then did I realize not all garlic is created equal.
Raven Ranch is a small family operation, with everyone involved, handling the process from planting to shipping one bulb at a time.
